1. What data we collect

When you use noises, we collect and store:

Account data: your email address and password (handled by our authentication provider).
Profile data: your username, display name, avatar, and bio.
Activity data: the reviews, comments, favorites, and lists (and the items in them) that you create, along with likes and follows.
Basic technical data such as session/login timestamps needed to keep you signed in.

2. How we use your data

We use this data to operate the service: to create and display your profile, to show your reviews, favorites, and lists to other users according to your settings, to power notifications about activity relevant to you, and to keep your account secure.

3. Sharing your data

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. Content you choose to make public (such as reviews, lists, and your profile) is visible to other users of the service as part of its normal functioning. We may use third-party infrastructure providers (such as our hosting and database provider) strictly to operate the service.

4. Cookies and sessions

We use cookies required for authentication and session management, provided by our authentication infrastructure (Supabase Auth), so that you can stay logged in between visits. We do not use these cookies for advertising.

5. Your rights under the LGPD

As a user based in Brazil (or anywhere else), you have the right to:

Confirm whether we process your data, and access the data we hold about you.
Correct incomplete, inaccurate, or outdated data.
Request deletion of your personal data and account.
Request portability of your data to another provider.
Revoke consent and object to processing, where applicable.

We do not currently have a self-service "delete my account" button in the app. To exercise any of these rights, including account and data deletion, please contact us using the email below and we will act on your request.
